Happy Chinese New Year

First of all, Happy Chinese new year to all. The best part about new year is that you will have endless supplies of snacks and drinks while watching TV, and thats how i finish up Heroes session 2 during the holiday.

Suddenly I miss New York so so much then realize, oh gosh, I haven't wrote a single thing about it yet. Then I opened up my pictures folder, this is what I found:

Hehe, the Rockefeller display window about Heroes. Stay tunned for the best window shopping area on earth :)

The capital D.C.

It's been awhile since i came back here.
Everything happen too fast and i was too hectic trying to adapt myself in a whole new environment, logically and emotionally.

But hey, now that everything is cool, i'm happily situated myself in PJ, it's time to rearrange the photos that i took during my 3 weeks of traveling during my stay in the states. I'll start off with the capital :D

Ahh... The white house, it seems small... maybe of it's huge garden i guess. There lots of Chinese descendant tourist in Washington including myself, it feels kinda weird thou...

Mr. president Lincoln sitting in his own temple.

And just outside the Lincoln memorial there was a great person who made his speech here.

I have a dream too, but look at the line >.<

There are plenty of world war memorial around Washington, it somehow reminds me of London which kinda annoyed me, who the hell go attack another country then setup such useless crap at their own garden...

The landmark of DC, too bad i couldn't make it to the top :(

There are plenty of museums around here and the best part is, it's all FREE !! Well too bad it wasn't my cup of tea, i was never a fan of museum...

The mobile food car reminds me of a Jacky Chan early movie, even the owner looks abit like him.

Dessert of the trip, HOOTERS Restaurant, where all the wanna be famous gal wearing tight pants, pushed up fake boobs serving food

My favorite modern city by far - Chicago

This is Chicago.
Rated the most beautiful modern city on earth by me.
Most people always say that all big cities look the same...

But not Chicago,
it has the biggest bean on Earth.
A fountain that pee from mouth
Once the tallest building ( taken down by KLCC, yek yek yek...)
Sue, the dinosaur which sex is unknown but with a gal's name
The man that does not belong to Earth for his jump skillSelling thicker pizza (deep dish pizza) than anywhere else that require 45 mins of waiting timeand Hotdog that doesn't look like 1 at all...
Ahh... I just love this city so much...

The faded Detroit

I have been to Detroit and University of Michigan in Ann Arbor 2 months ago, but I just dunno what to write about it. It's sad but it's true that Detroit indeed, a dying city...

The University of Michigan is 1 of the top 20 university in the states. What amazed me the most is the library.

U see this:

And the above, they are the same building. They manage to renovate the old library and blend in the new section without destroying the overall feel of the structure.

Those abandoned buildings are everywhere around Detroit, and I almost regret coming here.

Under our feet, De-troited !!

However, GM saves the day ( although they are also the reason why everyone leaving here cause of the Japanese :p)

And the Embassy Bridge across Canada. Why oh why, I just can't step on your land, Canada???

The only 2 places where i enjoyed the most in Detroit was the Summer Festival in the park of downtown and the Greek Town which circulate around the casino.

It feels good to have a bunch of people moving their body according to the music, i always have this problem (being aliened) in the jazz/blues concert or bar back in Malaysia where the rest just standing there like kayu...

Things u hardly see in Malaysia

Regardless of how screwed up the management of Cedar Point is this year, at least they dare to post something like this up around the notice board.

Compare to Malaysia?
Sigh... I don't think they even dare to mention about it, it is consider as political sensitive issue u know...

couting down

Ever since Soak City closed down for the session, I have no mood at all to go for work, at all. Just feel like leaving this fuck up place, pack my bags and start wandering around.

15 nights more in Sandusky, I'll be gone for good.

2 nights in Chicago,

4 nights in New York City and Washington DC,

10 nights in West Coast,

and my last stop, 2 nights in Hong Kong,

i'm coming back home...
